“In this stage you’ll fit the clutch cylinder to the bell housing then mount the parts onto the gearbox.




Materials: The Bell Housing is metal and the Clutch Cylinder is plastic.


Mounting the Bell Housing

Steps 1-2

Fit the pin of the Clutch Cylinder into the small hole at this location on the Bell Housing, aligning the larger holes to each other as shown:

Step 3

Secure the Cylinder into place from the inside with one (1) PS01 screw:

Step 4

Retrieve your Gearbox assembly from the previous stage. Fit the two posts of at the Driveshaft Housing end of the Gearbox into the matching holes of the Bell Housing, orienting it as shown:

Step 5

Secure the Gearbox to the Bell Housing from the inside with two (2) DS01 screws.

The transmission used in this Lotus Esprit was a Citroën designed C35 5-speed manual transaxle. Gotta love shifting!
